Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your data. In plain language, the way we'd want it explained to us.
Who we are
Indentri is a Los Angeles-based company providing commission-free online ordering and custom websites for independent restaurants. A deliberately small studio, no investors, no growth-at-all-costs.
What we collect
From prospects. When you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect your name, your restaurant's name, your email address, your phone number (if you give it to us), and the message you write.
From customers. Once you sign up for Indentri service, we also collect billing information through Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details — Stripe handles all of that.
Automatically. Like most websites, we collect your IP address, the type of browser you're using, and which pages you visit. We use this for spam prevention and to understand how the site is being used.
How we use it
- To respond when you write to us.
- To send service-related communications: renewal reminders, billing notifications, outage alerts.
- To process payments through Stripe.
- To detect spam and abuse through Upstash rate limiting.
- To make the site better.
We don't send marketing emails unless you specifically opt in. We don't send you anything unrelated to your relationship with us.
Who we share it with
We share data with these third parties because they make our service work:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Upstash — rate limiting and spam prevention.
- Railway — hosting.
That's it. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't trade it with data brokers. Ever.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act:
- The right to know what personal information we collect about you.
- The right to delete your personal information.
- The right to correct inaccurate information.
- The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your information. We don't do either, but the right exists.
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
Cookies
We use minimal first-party cookies for basic session management — the things that make the site work, like remembering form state.
We don't use third-party tracking cookies. We don't have advertising pixels. We don't have analytics that follow you across other sites.
If we ever add analytics, this page will be updated to reflect exactly what we collect and how.
Data retention
- Contact form submissions: kept for 2 years, then deleted.
- Customer data: kept for the duration of your service plus 7 years, for tax and legal compliance.
You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
Changes to this policy
When we make changes to this policy, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. For material changes that affect active customers, we'll send an email.
